Career Highlights: Scored the game-winning run in walk-off victory in the 10th frame of a 1-0 victory over Toledo on February 28, 2015, and has notched two game-winning RBIs in walk-off wins - against Georgia Tech on April 4, 2015 and versus Duke, April 23, 2016 (G1) ... One of three Hokies to hit a grand slam in 2015, hitting his at Pittsburgh on May 16.

2016: Started 29 games, all at catcher, and played in 40 total games … Had six multi-hit games, including one game with three, three multi-RBI games and four multi-run scoring games … Had a season-best six-game hitting streak and registered a career-high nine-game reached base streak … Batted .259 with 29 hits, including six doubles and two home runs, for 41 total bases and a .366 slugging percentage … Scored 13 runs and added 13 RBIs … Drew 12 walks and was hit by one pitch for a .333 on-base percentage … Also added one sacrifice fly and two sacrifice bunts … As a pinch hitter, went 1-for-2 with an RBI double and was also hit by a pitch … Had one game-winning run scored and one game-winning RBI.

2015: Started all 41 games at catcher and played in 48 total games … Had 10 multi-hit games, three multi-RBI games, including one with a career-high six RBIs (at Pittsburgh on May 16), and three multi-run games … Had a season long five-game hitting streak and a six-game reached base streak … Batted .222 with 32 hits, including nine doubles and two home runs, for 47 total bases and a .326 slugging percentage … Scored 17 runs and added 19 RBIs … Drew 13 walks and was hit by one pitch for a .289 on-base percentage … Also added a team-high seven sacrifice bunts and one sacrifice fly ... 2014: Started 13 games, all at catcher, and played in 17 total … Had two multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game … Batted .140 with six hits, including two doubles, for eight total bases and a .168 slugging percentage … Scored once and knocked in four more … Drew four walks to post a .208 on-base percentage.

2013: Came off the bench in five games … Was hitless in three plate appearances, but drew one walk … In only pinch-hit opportunity, drove in a run … Recorded nine putouts as a catcher.

High School: Earned varsity letters all four years while playing for Coach Jesse Marlo at West Orange … Named captain senior season and was selected to the All-Metro team as an honorable mention … Helped the Warriors to three straight district crowns and four straight district final appearances … Received the McMillan Leadership Award.
