Hokies sign Keerattriya Foocharoen on signing day

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Virginia Tech women’s golf coach Carol Robertson announced that Keerattriya Foocharoen has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Hokies for the 2018-19 season.

“We are all excited to have Keera joining our growing team,” Robertson said. “Being a member of the Thai National Team is a great accomplishment and we know her experiences through that will not only help her in being a great teammate but also a top level athlete.”

Foocharoen comes to Virginia Tech from Bangkok, Thailand. She is a member of the Thailand National team, where she is coached by Preecha Senaprom. For the national team, she was the first runner-up in the 15-17-year old group and won the 2017 Singapore Junior Golf Championship. She attends Bodindecha (Sing Sinhaseni) School in Bangkok, where she also competes in volleyball and table tennis.

Foocharoen is the daughter of Attakarn and Saifon Foocharoen. She has an older sister, Mookpaveen.
