2017 indoor: Was the first-ever male sprinter to earn the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Men’s Track and Field Freshman of the Year honor … Placed fifth overall with a time of 21.40 seconds in the 200 meter-dash at the ACC Championships, collecting second-team All-ACC honors … Earned a top-25 finish in the 400 at the ACC Championships … Also was a member of the 4x400 relay team at the conference meet, placing seventh overall with a time of 3:12.09 … Ran the 400 for the first time in his collegiate career at the Music City Challenge, finishing in 48.17 seconds for 12th place – good enough for sixth on Tech’s all-time list ... Also was a member of the winning 4x400 relay team at the Music City Challenge, finishing the race in a school-record time of 3 minutes, 11.11 seconds for the win ... Placed fourth in the 200 at the Bob Pollock Invitational with a time of 21.50 seconds … Competed in the 60 at that same meet, running the event in 6.92 seconds … Won the 300 at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a time of 34.03 seconds – the second-fastest time in the event in school history.

High school: Was a two-sport athlete at Woodberry Forest, earning three letters in football and track and field … Holds 10 school records in the long jump event, earning all-America honors three years in a row … A seven-time all-state honoree and 11-time all-prep nominee … Was named the 2016 Overall Prep Athlete of the Meet for the indoor and outdoor seasons.
