2016 Outdoor: Placed fourth at the NCAA Championships, earning his sixth All-America honor … Set a new program record and lifetime best of 13:27.64 at the national championship - an Olympic Trials qualifying time … Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships following his first-place finish in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA East Regional, recording a time of 14:06.44 … Earned first-team All-ACC honors with his top finishes in the 5,000 and 10,000 … Set a personal and school record in the 5,000 at the Payton Jordan Invite with a time of 13:33.88 … Won the Colonial Relays with a personal-record time of 29:29.10 in the 10,000.

2016 Indoor: Named to the All-ACC Academic Team … Earned first-team All-America honors with his second-place finish in the 5,000 at the NCAA Indoor Championships … Named to the All-ACC first team in the 5,000 and the second team in the 3,000 … Won three consecutive meets … Set an indoor personal record in the 5,000 at the Iowa State Classic with a time of 13:37.10.

2015 Cross Country: Finished 22nd at the NCAA Championships with a time of 30:15.1, earning All-America honors in cross country for the first time … Won the NCAA Southeast Regional with a time of 29:07.9 … Won the ACC's individual championship with a time of 23:23 - his first ACC title in cross country … Won the NCAA Pre-National meet with a time of 23:18.2 - his first career win in cross country … Beat Oregon's Ed Cheserek, the two-time defending NCAA national champion, at the NCAA Pre-National meet … Claimed second place at the Princeton Inter-Regional Invitational with a time of 24:05.6 … Finished 16th overall at the VT Alumni Invite with a time of 25:10.64.

2015 Outdoor: All-ACC Academic Team member ... Competed in the NCAA Championships for the 5,000-meter run, finishing seventh with a time of 13:52.11 and earning All-America honors ... Won the ACC outdoor championship in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 13:59.33 … Set a personal best 5,000-meter run time of 13:44.03 at the Payton Jordan meet ... Participated in the 1,500-meter race three times, including the Portland Track Festival with a personal record time of 3:45.85.

2015 Indoor: Earned All-America honors twice after finishing in eighth place in the 3000m and 5000m races at the 2015 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships... Named USTFCCCA Southeast Region Athlete of the Year Set school records in both the 3000m (7:52.92, ACC Championships) and 5000m (13:38.56, Iowa State Classic)... Won the ACC Championship in the 3000m, earning first team All-ACC honors... Earned second team All-ACC honors after leading the distance medley relay team to a third place finish at the ACC Championships... Two-time ACC Performer of the Week winner (Feb. 3, Feb. 17).

2013 Cross Country: Competed in four meets for the Hokies... Placed second at the ACC Championship with a time of 24:02.20 en route to All-ACC honors...Finished fourth at the NCAA Southeast Regional, earning All-Region honors after completing the 10k race with a time of 28:46.70... Earned an automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Championships where he finished in 69th place with a time of 32:01.40.

2013 Outdoor: Won the 5,000-meter title at the ACC Championship with the first sub-14 minute time of his career (13:58.77) ... Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the 5,000 meters where he finished 24th overall ... Posted a time of 14:07.98 at the Oxy Invite ... Had a time of 30:07.30 in 10,000 meters at the Raleigh Relays.

2013 Indoor: Claimed the ACC Championship by breaking the school record with a time of 14:01.65 ... Finished the 5,000 meters in a time of 14:02.73 at the Husky Classic ... Clocked in at 8:07.83 in the 3,000 meters at the Hokie Invitational.

2012 Cross Country: Earned All-ACC accolades by finishing seventh at the ACC Championships with a time of 23:56.3 … Helped the Hokies claim the program’s first ACC team title … Finished third on the team at the NCAA Championships for 88th place (30:37.9) out of 245 runners … Helped the Hokies to a sixth place result at Pre-Nationals, finishing third best on the team in 63rd (24:10.4).

2012 Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the 5000 meters, where he finished 15th in his heat and 25th overall (14:25.06) … Finished sixth at the ACC Championship in the 5000 meters (14:13.33) … Won the Wolfpack Last Chance Meet with a season best 5k of 14:02.86 … Turned in a season best 1500 meter time of 3:52.98 at the Roanoke Twilight to place sixth … Ran 14:07.71 in the 5k at the Colonial Relays … Earned team Rookie Award.

2012 Indoor: Placed ninth at the ACC Championship in the 5000 meters in a team best 14:31.19 … Ranked second on the team in the 3000 meters after running 8:09.37 at the SPIRE Division I Invitational … Clocked a season best mile of 4:11.11 while competing unattached at the VT Elite Meet.

2011 Cross Country: Competed in five meets on the season … Ran fifth on the team at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet, finishing 54th in 31:33.7 for the 10k … Posted a season-best 8k time of 24:20.3 at the ACC Championships to place 30th overall and third on the team … Led the team at the Appalachian State Blue Ridge Open by finishing eighth in 25:18.5 ... Competed for the USA junior cross country team at the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country International Challenge in Edinburgh, Scotland in January and finished eighth overall for the 6k in 20:21 ...
