Responsibilities: Larrick assists cheerleaders with proper stunting, basket, tumbling and pyramid technique and helps to coach the team on football and basketball game days. In addition, Larrick works to recruit male cheerleaders to the squad. He choreographs routines for the cheer squad for nationals and game day performances and assists with clinics throughout the season.

Joined VT Staff: August 2013 (part-time)

Prior to Virginia Tech: Larrick attended Tech and was a member of the cheer squad (2008-13) and was on the national’s team 2010-13. During his time, he helped the team to their highest place in program history, finishing fourth at NCA Nationals in 2012. He served as the captain of the team in 2012-13 and was named the Cheerleading Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year in 2011-12.

Education: Virginia Tech, 2013 (B.S. Material Science & Engineering)

Personal: Larrick is from Winchester, Va. and now resides in Blacksburg.
