Prior to Virginia Tech: Was a trainer in Los Angeles.

Education: Virginia Tech, 1997 (B.S. Health and Physical Education), Virginia Tech 1999 (M.S. Health Education)

Of Note: Jackson played basketball at Virginia Tech under legendary coach Bill Foster from 1994-97. He was a member of the 1995 team that won the NIT championship, and he also played on the 1996 team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to eventual national champion Kentucky. In his career, he played in 83 games for the Hokies, averaging 6.2 points per game. His twin brother, Jim, also played for the Hokies. Jackson holds many certifications including: CSCCa, NSCA, CSCS, CPR Certified, IYCA Certified.

Personal: Jackson grew up in Janesville, Wisc., and is married to Essie Jackson. Has one daughter named Fiona and one on the way. Hobbies include woodworking.
