Job responsibilities: Bailey provides administrative support to marketing and promotions, hokiesports.com, student-athlete development, and the spirit squads. She is responsible for setting up purchase orders, processing payments and reimbursements, reconciling budget statements, and scheduling travel arrangements. She also coordinates community outreach for the department’s participation in local community events. 

Joined VT Athletics Staff: 2002

At Virginia Tech: Bailey has been with the athletics department since 2001 when she began as an office assistant in strategic communications (formerly sports information). The following year, she was hired as the department's receptionist. Shortly thereafter, she accepted the administrative assistant position that she currently holds. Over the years, she has assisted associate and assistant athletics directors, in addition to the areas she supports today.

Education: Studied at New River Community College

Personal: A native of Pearisburg, Virginia, Bailey enjoys going to concerts, attending sporting events, and traveling in the U.S. and abroad.
