2017: Started and played in all 53 games … Logged 52 starts behind the plate … Set career-highs with 48 hits, seven home runs and 21 RBI … Tied for second in the ACC with 16 runners caught stealing … Picked off two runners … Registered 10 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games … Matched her single-game high of three hits three times against Seton Hall (2/26), Georgia Tech (3/31) and Western Carolina (4/25) … Tallied an RBI single against Iowa (2/18) … Had her second-career multi-home run against the Pirates (2/26) … Went 1-for-3 with a solo home run at South Carolina (3/8) … Scored twice and went 2-for-3 with an RBI against North Carolina (3/19) … Hit a two-run home run against East Tennessee State (3/21) … Went 3-for-5 and reached on an E6 that scored the game-winning run against Georgia Tech (3/31) … Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI against the Yellow Jackets (4/1) … Smashed a two-run home run against Longwood (4/11) … Had an RBI and drove in the go-ahead run on a sac bunt in the top of the sixth at Liberty (4/18) … Scored twice and collected three hits at Western Carolina (4/25).

2016: ACC Freshman of the Year - the first in Tech history … NFCA’s Mid-Atlantic Region third team selection … Led the Hokies with a .347 average, slugging .605 with five home runs, a pair of triples, and 13 doubles … Logged a 20-game hitting streak that ranks the second longest in Tech’s record books … Ranked second in the ACC with 13 runners caught stealing for the season … Ranked second with an .807 slugging percentage against ACC competition … Slugged 20 multi-base hits with a team high of 13 doubles … Had 12 multi-hit games … Collected 246 putouts with 37 assists as catcher … Made her collegiate debut at USF with four putouts as catcher … Launched two home runs, driving in six against Virginia to tie a school record of home runs in a single game.

High School: Played at Hickory High for Coach Ryan Wieck … A two-time all-state selection … Finished her career as the school’s all-time leader in hits, RBIs, doubles, home runs, batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and total bases … Batted .492 as a senior with 33 RBIs, 23 runs and nine home runs … Helped lead the Hawks to the South Region title and a berth in the Group 5A state title game … A first-team Group 5A all-state selection … Named the Chesapeake Sports Club softball player of the year … Named first-team All-Tidewater, All-South Region (5A) and first-team All-PennSouth Conference … As a junior, was first-team All-Tidewater, all-region, all-conference and all-region … Named the conference player of the year after hitting .547 with nine doubles, five triples and three home runs … Honored as Hickory softball's Most Valuable Player her junior and senior seasons … Was first-team all-state, all-region, All-Tidewater and all-conference as a sophomore after hitting .455 with 12 doubles, three home runs and not allowing a single stolen base from her catcher position … Was first-team all-district and second-team all-region as a freshman after hitting .434 for the year … Also competed in track for Hickory … Played travel ball for Coach Tom Bunn and the Williamsburg Starz.

Personal: Lauren Colette Duff was born June 6, 1997 in Honolulu, HI … The daughter of Lt. Roy Travis Duff (USCG) and April Duff … Has an older brother, Colin … Contemplated major is biology with a concentration in genetics.
