Mark Lawrence Jr. tied for 60th entering final round at Raleigh

Virginia Tech men’s golfer Mark Lawrence Jr., has a two-round total of 148 and is tied for 60th place at the NCAA Raleigh Regional on Tuesday. The three-day tournament is being played at the par 71, 7,273-yard Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Lawrence posted a 76 on Monday and followed that with a 72 on Tuesday. Doug Ghim of Texas leads the event with a 12-under 130. Lawrence is competing in the NCAA Raleigh Regional as an individual.

Lawrence completes the regional on Wednesday morning, with a 9:20 a.m. tee time to begin his third round. He will begin from the first tee and will be grouped with Hoke Carlton of Davidson and Paolo Matti of Iona.
