Christian Webster named to NABC 30-Under-30

Virginia Tech assistant men’s basketball coach Christian Webster has been named a National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 30-under-30 honoree, recognizing a group of up and coming young coaches in men’s college basketball.

Webster just completed his first season with the Hokies. During the 2016-17 season, Tech finished 22-11 overall and 10-8 in the ACC and earned an NCAA Tournament bid for the first time in 10 years.

Prior to Virginia Tech, Webster coached two seasons at Harvard and one season at UCF. He graduated from Harvard in the spring of 2013 with his degree in psychology, where he was a four-year letterwinner and is the Crimson’s winningest-player, amassing 90 career wins and three Ivy League Championships.
