Lacrosse returns to Lane Stadium

BLACKSBURG – For the first time, the Virginia Tech lacrosse team will play a regular season game inside of Lane Stadium on Saturday, April 21 when in-state rival Virginia heads to Blacksburg on the final day of the regular season.

First draw is set for 1 p.m. with coverage available on ACC Network Extra.

The matchup Saturday is perhaps Tech’s biggest game of the season as the Hokies look to secure their winningest season in program history and the three seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament with a win.

The Hokies can also earn a point in the Commonwealth Clash presented by Virginia529. Tech currently leads 8.5-6.5.

On game day, fans can enter Lane Stadium through Gates 4 and 5 on the west side of the stadium, and are encouraged to sit in seats between Sections 8 and 14. Admission and parking are free.

The careers of eight seniors will be celebrated in a pregame ceremony; Marissa Davey, Carly Primo, Brittney VanVeldhuisen, Kristen Kohles, Kelly Glatthorn, Tristan McGinley, Meagh Graham and Emma Harden.
