2014 NCAA All-Southeast Region

2017: Was an All-Southeast Region choice for the second time … Was 52nd overall at the NCAA Championships (10K) with a time of 30:12.41 … Finished 21st at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet (10K) with a time of 29:40.8 … Came in 25th at the ACC Championships (8K) with a time of 24:05.3 … Was 43rd at the Adidas Pre-National Invitational (8K) with a time of 23:51.3 - his career-best time at this distance … Finished 19th at the Louisville Sports Commission Classic (8K) with a time of 23:55.71.

2016: Took a redshirt year … Ran unattached at the VT Alumni Invite and finished tied for eighth with a time of 25:06.50 … Ran unattached at the Hokie Invite and came in 12th overall with a time of 19:06.60.

2015: Came in 70th at the ACC Championships with a time of 25:27.2 … Was 93rd at the NCAA Pre-National meet with a time of 24:16.4 … Finished 45th at the Princeton Inter-Regional Invitational with a time of 24:48.4.

2014: Earned All-Southeast Region honors after finishing in 25th place at the NCAA Southeast Regional with a 10k time of 30:56.1... Posted a 39th-place finish at the ACC Championships with an 8k time of 24:26.4... Set personal bests in both the 8k and 10k distances.

2013: Competed in four meets for the Hokies... Finished ninth at the Mountaineer Open... Placed in the top 20 at the VT Alumni Invitational... Placed 51st at the ACC Championships with a time of 25:15.30.

High school: In 2013, boasted top-15 national times in both the 800 meters and the mile… Finished first in the 800 at the Southern Track Classic with a time of 1:50.78… Garnered a third place finish in the mile at the Penn Relays with a time of 4:07.88 which ranks third in meet history… Won both the 800 meters and the mile at the VHSL Group AA outdoor championships in 2012 and 2013.

Personal: Born on Sep. 7, 1995... Son of Donna and Peter Joseph... Has three siblings, Matthew, Caroline and Lian... Was the Student Council treasurer at Loudon County High School... Major is geography.
