2017 All-ACC

2017: Earned a letter in cross country for the third consecutive year … Came in 190th at the NCAA Championships (10K) with a time of 31:29.46 … Was 42nd at the NCAA Souitheast Regional meet (10K) wiht a time of 30:25.7 … Finished 18th at the ACC Championships to earn All-ACC honors in cross contry for the first time in his career … Ran the 8K courseat the ACC meet in a time of 24:00.3 - the best time of his career at this distance … Came in 51st at the Adidas Pre-National Invitational (8K) with a time of 24:00.7 … Was 35th at the Louisville Sports Commission Classic (8K) with a time of 24:18.58 … Finished fifth at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite (8K) with a time of 25:11.

2016: Finished 119th at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet in a time of 32:04.8 … Came in 39th at the ACC Championships wiht a time of 24:20.0 … Was 24th at the Penn State National Open with a time of 25:34.0 … Finished 20th at the Greater Louisville Classic with a time of 24:45.56 … Came in 12th at the VT Alumni Invite with a time of 25:08.90 … Was tied for fifth at the Hokie Invite, running the 6K course in a time of 18:53.30.

2015: Claimed fifth overall and second among scorers at the Hokie Open with a time of 18:49.50 … Came in 73rd at the ACC Championships with a time of 25:30.3 … Was 50th in the NCAA Pre-National meet's unseeded race with a time of 24:59.3 … Finished 71st at the Princeton Inter-Regional Invitational with a time of 25:10.5 … Was 40th overall at the VT Alumni Invite with a time of 25:40.12.

2014: Redshirted.

High school: Posted the 16th-best mile time in the country at the Penn Relays with a time of 4:09.27, good enough for a fourth-place finish… Won the mile and the 3,200-meter run at the Maryland Indoor 4A state championships… Claimed first in the 800 and 1,600 at the Maryland Outdoor 4A state championships, where he posted the fastest time that season in the 800 … Set meet records at both the Emerging Elite one- and two-mile runs at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals.

Personal: Born on Jan. 21, 1995 to parents Richard and Regina Ciattei in Baltimore, Maryland... Has two sisters, Anna and Julia, and one brother, Christian... Pursuing a degree in engineering science and mathematics.
