Career Highlights: Hit one of Tech's two grand slams in 2016, versus Miami on March 11, 2016 ... With Sam Fragale, became the first two Hokies to hit back-to-back home runs in an ACC game since March 17, 2012 (Jake Atwell, Mark Zagunis at Georgia Tech) when they went back-to-back at Virginia on May 20, 2016 ... On March 4, 2017 versus Binghamton, notched first career two-home run game, his second was followed by Sam Fragale and Mac Caples back-to-back home runs as the trio became the first three Tech teammates to hit three home runs in a row in recorded history ... His ACC Pitcher of the Week honor, after holding No. 1 Florida State scoreless over eight frames on March 19, 2017, was just the eighth in Tech's history earned by just the fourth Hokies' pitcher.

2017: at the plate – Made 36 starts during the season, 26 as the DH, 11 as the pitcher/DH and three in left field, while playing in 37 total games … Had 11 multi-hit games, including two games with three and a season-high four-hit game versus Niagara (March 7) … Added five multi-RBI games and five multi-run scoring games, including a game with three and a career-high five at Nevada (Feb. 26) … Had a season-best four-game hitting streak and a reached base streak of nine straight games … Batted .259 with 30 hits, including three doubles and five home runs for 48 total bases and a .414 slugging percentage … Scored 22 runs and added 20 RBI … Drew eight walks and was hit by seven pitches for a .341 on-base percentage … Scored two game-winning runs.

on the mound – Appeared in 16 games, with 11 starts on the mound (second most on the team) which included a team-high four quality starts … Had a 4.88 ERA (third) in 62.2 innings pitched (third), struck out 42 batters, walked 24 and posted a 5-5 record while combining on one shutout – versus Florida State … His five wins tied for the team lead and included wins at USC Upstate (Feb. 17), at Nevada (Feb. 26), at Duke (March 11), Florida State and Boston College (April 1) … Tossed a season-high 8.0 innings twice – versus Binghamton (March 5) and Florida State and worked at least 5.0 in seven of his starts … In four appearances out of the bullpen, threw at least 1.0 innings ... 2016: at the plate – Started 45 games – 23 in left and 22 as the DH – and played in 50 total games … Had 17 multi-hit games, including three games with one three, one with four and a five-hit game versus Pitt (April 15) … Notched seven multi-RBI games, including one three, one four and two games with five RBIs (versus Miami, March 11 and Alcorn State, May 7, G1) … Added five multi-run scoring games, including a season-high four versus Wake Forest (May 14) … Had a season-best eight-game hitting streak and an 11-game reached base streak … Led the team with a .339 batting average with 59 hits (second on the team), including 13 doubles (T-third) and four home runs (second), for 84 total bases (third) and a team-best .483 slugging percentage … Scored 25 runs and added 30 RBIs (fifth) … Drew 19 walks (T-fifth) and was hit by six pitches (T-fifth) for a .418 on-base percentage (second) … Also added two sacrifice flies and two sacrifice bunts …...
